ABOUT
The mission of Belton Center for the Arts is to encourage and stimulate the education, practice, and appreciation of the arts. The Center will showcase all forms of art, and act as a community cultural center, creating an inviting atmosphere and further enhancing and uniting the Belton community.
The Belton Center for the Arts, founded in 1999, is a cultural arts center that is committed to engaging the community in the education, exhibition and exploration of the visual, performing and literary arts. By offering an open and inviting atmosphere, the Center encourages art appreciation for every discipline through a variety of cultural experiences. In addition to promoting local artists by providing multiple exhibition opportunities, Belton Center for the Arts also cultivates emerging artists of all ages and ability levels through educational classes in a variety of media. The Center, as well as its members, believes that the arts are fundamental to quality of life, education, and economic development. The gallery, designed for multi-use, is the community’s paramount exhibition space with room to exhibit a variety of art.
